Dying Easter Eggs with Shaving Cream

Easter is coming up this Sunday! One of the time honored traditions of Easter is egg dying. We came across this fun way of dying eggs with shaving cream your kids are sure to love.

Ms. Maygon’s kindergarten class had so much fun dying Easter eggs the other day! Apparently they all wanted green eggs, lol. They had a great time. Then, once all of their eggs were finished, the kids ate them! Funny kids!

Shaving Cream Dyed Easter Eggs

Supplies Needed

  • Neon Food Coloring (the neon will give more vibrant colors, but regular food coloring works too)

  • Eggs – don’t’ forget to boil them first

  • Cookie Sheet

  • Shaving Cream or Cool Whip

  • Straw

  • Gloves (optional, it’s a little messy, lol)

Directions

  • Evenly spread the shaving cream into the cookie sheet.

  • With the food coloring, add drops of different colors randomly over the shaving cream.

  • Use the straw to mix the colors into each other in random patterns to mix up the colors.

  • Smoothly roll the egg in the mixture and let the eggs sit for 10 minutes.

  • Rinse them clean!
